Obinna explained that Amber was cast as the lead in the video for his song Kado, and that they had agreed on payment. However, on the day of the shoot, she and her husband Rapudo showed up late and appeared to have been drinking. According to Obinna, Amber then refused to perform scenes involving dancing with him.
In response, Amber took to Instagram to refute his claims. She acknowledged that she enjoys drinking occasionally but denied ever letting it interfere with her work. She emphasized that there are no videos showing her acting in a disorderly manner, despite her openness about her lifestyle.

Amber admitted she was late to the shoot and apologized but firmly rejected the claim that she had been drinking irresponsibly before arriving. She also clarified that she hadn’t been paid for the video and had agreed to appear as a personal favor, citing previous instances where she supported Obinna without hesitation.
Her husband, Kennedy Rapudo, also spoke out, criticizing Obinna for bringing the issue to the public instead of handling it privately. He admitted Amber was indeed under the influence and late on the day in question, but insisted that she had communicated her delay and did not act unprofessionally.
Rapudo challenged Obinna to provide any evidence of misconduct, promising to apologize personally if such proof emerged. Despite defending Amber, he maintained a respectful tone toward Obinna, acknowledging their past friendship and professional respect.
