Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are going all-in this summer. With marquee names like Rodrygo, Benjamin Sesko, and Martin Zubimendi on the radar, and Thomas Partey heading for the exit, the Gunners are assembling a team that screams title contenders.

After narrowly missing out in recent seasons, Arsenal are refusing to play it safe. Arteta’s project has matured, and now the club is pulling all the stops to ensure next season isn’t another “so close yet so far” story.

Out: Thomas Partey. The Ghanaian midfielder, once a cornerstone of Arteta’s midfield, is set to depart as his contract runs down. With no agreement reached for an extension, Partey is expected to seek a new challenge elsewhere, marking the end of an era.

With Jorginho also gone, Arsenal’s midfield looked dangerously thin. That’s where Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard come in.

In: Zubimendi & Norgaard. Zubimendi, the Spanish maestro who shone at Euro 2024, is finally on his way to the Emirates. Arsenal have tracked him for over a year, and the £50m move is now close to completion. He’ll bring composure, vision, and control.

Meanwhile, Brentford’s Norgaard is also being lined up. A gritty, reliable presence, the Dane would add Premier League-tested depth and help cover for Partey’s absence.

Sesko vs Gyokeres. Who Leads the Line?

It’s no secret: Arsenal lacked a reliable No.9 last season. Gabriel Jesus struggled with injuries, and Eddie Nketiah lacked consistency. That’s why the Gunners are now chasing RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, a rising star with pace, power, and Premier League potential.

But there’s a twist: Sesko’s wage demands are stalling negotiations. If talks collapse, Arsenal will pivot to Viktor Gyokeres, the goal machine who tore up the Portuguese league with over 50 goals for Sporting Lisbon.

Manchester United are also sniffing around Gyokeres, but Arsenal are quietly confident they can get their man. Either striker would inject the clinical edge Arsenal sorely missed.

Rodrygo – The Superstar Signing?

Perhaps the biggest buzz surrounds Real Madrid’s Rodrygo. With Mbappe and Vinicius Jr dominating Madrid’s attack, Rodrygo’s future has become uncertain. Arsenal are reportedly ready to pounce, believing they can convince the Brazilian to become the face of a new era in North London.

Rodrygo joining Bukayo Saka and Odegaard behind a new No.9 would create one of the most explosive attacking trios in Europe.

Kepa to the Emirates?

In goal, Arteta is targeting Kepa Arrizabalaga as a reliable No.2 to David Raya. The former Chelsea man, after back-to-back loan spells, is seeking a permanent home. Arsenal could offer stability and a chance to reignite his career.

Predicted XI: Arsenal’s Title-Chasing Machine

If everything goes to plan, here’s how the Gunners could line up next season:

Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Rice, Zubimendi, Saka, Odegaard, Rodrygo, Sesko/Gyokeres

From back to front, this is a squad that’s fast, fearless, and finally ready to dethrone Manchester City.

After years of rebuilds and “next season” talk, Arsenal may finally be ready to deliver. With top-tier reinforcements in nearly every position and Arteta backed like never before, this could be the year the Gunners reclaim Premier League glory.
