CEO-Officer Jean de Dieu has officially launched Mulenge Records, a professional recording and creative studio established to serve the Banyamulenge diaspora and wider African communities through music production, project writing, and advocacy-oriented content. The launch marked a significant step in strengthening creative and development platforms led by the diaspora.
Speaking during the launch, CEO-OFFICER Jean de Dieu described Mulenge Records as more than a recording studio. “Mulenge Records was created to give structure to our creativity and direction to our ideas. Music alone is powerful, but when it is supported by strong projects and clear documentation, it can truly change communities,” he said.

Founded and owned by CEO-OFFICER Jean de Dieu, Mulenge Records operates in partnership with Afrovera Media Agency, combining artistic production with media expertise and professional communication. According to the founder, the studio is designed to support artists, community leaders, and organizations seeking both creative expression and sustainable impact.

Music production forms the core of the studio’s activities. Mulenge Records supports artists from songwriting and arrangement to final recording and project development, focusing on themes of peace, unity, resilience, and cultural identity. “Our music must carry meaning,” CEO-OFFICER Jean de Dieu noted. “We want songs that speak to our history, our struggles, and our hope for a peaceful future.”
In addition to music, the studio places strong emphasis on professional project writing. Mulenge Records develops structured NGO and community projects aligned with international standards, covering areas such as peacebuilding, education, humanitarian action, youth empowerment, and cultural preservation. “Many good initiatives fail because they are not well written or well presented. We are here to bridge that gap,” CEO-OFFICER Jean de Dieu explained.
Through its collaboration with Afrovera Media Agency, Mulenge Records also strengthens advocacy and media visibility, ensuring that artistic and development initiatives reach broader audiences through digital platforms and professional storytelling. “Visibility is part of impact,” CEO-OFFICER Jean de Dieu said. “If our stories are not heard, our efforts remain invisible.”
During the launch, the studio announced the following services:
- Professional music production and recording
- Songwriting support and artistic project development
- NGO and community project writing
- Advocacy and peace-focused content development
- Media and digital visibility support through strategic partnerships
CEO-OFFICER Jean de Dieu emphasized that Mulenge Records is intended to serve as a long-term creative and strategic hub for the Banyamulenge diaspora and beyond. “This studio is about empowering our people to tell their own stories, build credible projects, and engage the world with confidence,” he said.
