Chelsea Football Club is having a very busy summer. The club has already sold players worth £130 million, and now, they are set to make another £65 million from selling three more stars. This money will help them buy more new players before the Premier League season starts.

On Monday, Chelsea agreed to sell Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Armando Broja to other Premier League clubs. These transfers are seen as a big move for Chelsea as they prepare to sign more top talent.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea only last summer from Leicester City. The Blues paid £30 million for him. But he only started two games in the Premier League. Most of his time on the pitch came in European games.

Because he wasn’t getting many chances to play, Everton decided to take him. They agreed to pay £25 million plus add-ons. This deal gives Dewsbury-Hall a fresh start and gives Chelsea more cash to spend.

Lesley Ugochukwu and Armando Broja are both heading to Burnley, a team that just came back to the Premier League. Both players signed five-year contracts with Burnley.

Burnley will pay about £20 million each for Ugochukwu and Broja. That’s another £40 million going into Chelsea’s bank account.

Ugochukwu is 21 years old and spent last season on loan at Southampton, but he couldn’t help them avoid going down to the Championship.

Broja, who is 23, had injury problems last season. He started the 2024-25 season on loan at Everton but only played in 11 matches and didn’t score any goals.

Now that Chelsea has more money from selling these three players, they are expected to chase new signings. One big target is Xavi Simons, the talented playmaker from RB Leipzig.

They are also showing interest in Alejandro Garnacho, who may leave Manchester United soon. Chelsea’s manager, Enzo Maresca, wants to build a strong team for the new season.

But the sales might not stop here. There are rumors that Borussia Dortmund want to re-sign Carney Chukwuemeka. Chukwuemeka spent the second half of last season on loan in Germany and impressed the team.

Also, RB Leipzig are eyeing Tyrique George, a 19-year-old Chelsea youngster. Leipzig may try to bring him to Germany soon.

Marc Guiu, another 19-year-old Chelsea talent, is set to join Sunderland on loan. Sunderland was recently promoted and could use Guiu’s skills in their attack.

Some big-name players at Chelsea are also in danger of being sold. Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell are currently training away from the rest of the team. Their futures at the club are uncertain.

After winning the Club World Cup, Chelsea’s squad is back in training at Cobham, their training center. They are getting ready for the new season under coach Maresca.

Before the Premier League starts, Chelsea will play friendly matches against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan. These games will help the team prepare for competitive action.

Chelsea’s season begins on Sunday, August 17, with a home game against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues will then face a tough schedule with three other London clubs. They will travel to West Ham and Brentford, and also host Fulham in between.

Chelsea fans are excited to see who else the club will buy. With more money from these recent player sales, more big moves are expected soon.

Chelsea have already spent £242 million this summer, buying players like Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, and Jorrel Hato.

But thanks to smart sales, especially the £65 million from Dewsbury-Hall, Ugochukwu, and Broja, Chelsea can keep spending without breaking any financial rules.

The transfer window is still open, and anything can happen. But one thing is clear: Chelsea are serious about building a winning team for the 2025-26 season.
