Regional transit hubs such as Dubai and Jeddah have become key departure points for many evacuation flights, with thousands of foreign nationals passing through these cities as they make their way back to their home countries.
European governments including France, Germany, and the Czech Republic have also begun organizing special flights aimed at evacuating their citizens from areas considered high-risk as the conflict expands.
Meanwhile, the United Kingdom confirmed that its first charter evacuation flight from the Omani capital of Muscat experienced technical delays earlier in the day. Officials said the aircraft was expected to depart shortly after the issue was resolved. British authorities have indicated that several additional flights are already being scheduled to assist UK citizens who remain in the region.
Diplomats and security analysts warn that the situation across the Middle East remains highly volatile as military tensions linked to Iran continue to grow. Governments are therefore urging their citizens to leave affected areas immediately while evacuation flights are still available.
