At the recently concluded Great Leaders Contest debate championship, hosted at the Kasarani Group of Schools, the academy’s debate team delivered a commanding performance that saw them finish as first runners-up. The judges described the final round as “highly competitive,” noting that Trevors Academy’s representatives demonstrated “clear analytical thinking, strong argumentation and confident delivery.” Although they missed the top spot by a narrow margin, the result was widely celebrated within the school community.
The academy also recorded an impressive showing at the Spelling Bee competition held at Two Rivers Mall. Learners participating under the guidance of facilitators, including Madam Sandra Moraa, showcased remarkable proficiency in English spelling and vocabulary. Each student received a certificate of participation, with organisers commending their focus and enthusiasm. One of the facilitators said the event offered “valuable exposure and practical learning that strengthens the children’s confidence.”
Sports excellence remains a key pillar for Trevors Academy, and the school’s Under-14 football and netball teams continued that momentum with decisive victories in their respective competitions. Both teams emerged champions, bringing home trophies and earning praise for their teamwork and discipline. Coaches credited the performance to rigorous training and commitment, while parents celebrated the strong display of talent.

Director Madam Eveline Ongondo applauded both learners and staff, saying the achievements reflect the school’s broader mission. “We believe in nurturing every aspect of a child’s potential academically, socially and creatively.
