The artist, who was recently in Kigali for a music collaboration with Rwandan singer Bwiza, had stated in November 2025 that marriage, motherhood, and starting a family were not part of her plans. At the time, she explained that her main focus was her career, personal development, and creating a secure and successful future for herself.
In an interview with Galaxy TV, Lydia Jazmine said her priorities included working hard, making money, building her own home, and preparing a new house for her parents in the near future. She also questioned why women continue to face social pressure to get married.
She stressed that people should stop pressuring women to publicly display their husbands, noting that it is more common for men to show off their partners and that women should not be expected to do the same.
However, just a month after making those statements, Lydia Jazmine revealed a change in perspective. She admitted that she now wants to give love another chance and hopes to meet a genuine partner with whom she can share her life.
Although she is currently single, the singer said she is open to love and looks forward to waking up each day feeling happy and fulfilled in a relationship.
The 34-year-old has previously been linked to several fellow artists, including Eddy Kenzo and Fik Fameica, but she has consistently denied the rumors. She has said she will only go public with her relationship when she feels the time is right.
