During the evaluation, Maj Gen M’Arimi emphasized the critical role that PTIs play in shaping the physical and mental resilience of future military officers. He noted that physical fitness remains one of the key pillars of military excellence, especially in preparing recruits to meet the rigorous demands of training and national defense.

The assessment aimed to ensure that all instructors meet the highest standards of discipline, endurance, and professionalism as they prepare to guide the new cohort of cadets expected to join the Academy soon.

The Commandant commended the PTIs for their dedication and reminded them of their responsibility in nurturing the next generation of Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) leaders. He further urged them to maintain consistency and integrity in implementing the Academy’s physical training programs.

The Kenya Military Academy, located in Lanet, Nakuru County, remains the cornerstone of officer training in the country, producing disciplined and competent leaders who uphold the values of service, loyalty, and patriotism.
