Manchester United Dressing Room and Fans make feelings clear as Club Pushes £62.5M Move for Bryan Mbeumo Ahead of USA Tour

The Manchester United dressing room and fans are buzzing with excitement as the club works hard to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo in a huge £62.5 million deal. The 25-year-old, who scored 20 goals and gave 7 assists last season, is now a top target for new manager Ruben Amorim. 

United have already made two bids for Mbeumo. The first was £45m plus £10m in add-ons, and the latest was £55m plus £7.5m in add-ons. Brentford rejected both and want the full £62.5m upfront, the same amount United recently paid for Matheus Cunha from Wolves. 

Inside the United camp, players are excited about the possible arrival of Mbeumo. Two big names, Matheus Cunha and Joshua Zirkzee, showed their approval by liking a post on Instagram by top journalist Fabrizio Romano, which confirmed that United are still pushing to get the deal done. 

These reactions have sparked joy among fans, who now believe that Mbeumo is being welcomed even before signing. Cunha and Zirkzee are expected to play alongside him in Amorim’s new front three next season, and they seem eager to build chemistry early. 

Manchester United fans online are thrilled, calling Mbeumo the “perfect winger” for Amorim’s system. On platforms like X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and fan forums, supporters have been praising his goal-scoring record, speed, work rate, and desire to join the club. 

“We need that kind of energy and finishing power on the wing. Mbeumo is Red Devil material,” one fan tweeted. 

“Love that the dressing room is already showing him support. That speaks volumes,” said another. 

Some fans also pointed out that Mbeumo rejected interest from Tottenham, Arsenal, and Newcastle, showing his commitment to joining Old Trafford. 

Manchester United are hopeful the deal can be agreed before the squad flies to the USA for pre-season. Amorim wants Mbeumo to join early so he can bond with his new teammates, understand the playing style, and start fresh with the squad. 

New Tottenham boss Thomas Frank, who coached Mbeumo at Brentford, knows the winger’s value. Before leaving Brentford, he told Tipsbladet: 

“How many wingers score 20 goals for a mid-table club? And with 7 assists, work ethic, and great character… he’s priceless. You can’t replace that easily.” 

Ironically, Frank hoped his connection to Mbeumo would help bring him to Spurs, but the winger’s heart is with United. 

Mbeumo has just one year left on his Brentford contract, but the club has the option to extend it for another year. Still, his desire to play at Old Trafford is expected to play a major role in pushing the deal through. 

For now, Mbeumo remains a Brentford player. But with the Manchester United dressing room showing support, fans lighting up social media, and Amorim pushing for a quick deal, the Red Devils may soon welcome a new star winger.
