Viral videos circulating on social media show large crowds trekking toward sites linked to the prophet, some carrying bags, food supplies and personal belongings, convinced that salvation lies in wooden structures he describes as modern-day “arks”.

According to followers, Ebo Noah claims he received a divine revelation warning that a flood similar to the biblical story of Noah would wipe out the earth on Christmas Day, sparing only those who heed the warning and seek refuge with him.
“God has spoken. Those who listen will live,” the prophet is heard declaring in one widely shared clip.

_Sold Everything,Left Everything_

In scenes that have shocked many across Africa, some believers are said to have sold property, abandoned jobs and travelled from neighbouring countries to reach Ghana before the prophesied date. Families, including women and children, have been spotted camping near the alleged ark sites, praying and singing as they await what they believe is an imminent apocalypse.

_Mixed Reactions,Growing Fear_

While loyal followers insist the prophecy is real, religious leaders, scientists and critics have dismissed the claims as dangerous misinformation, warning that such prophecies can trigger panic, exploitation and even loss of life.

“This is how people get manipulated in the name of religion,” one Ghanaian pastor said. “There is no biblical or scientific basis for setting an exact date for the end of the world.”

_Authorities Alert_

The unfolding situation has reportedly caught the attention of authorities amid concerns over public safety, mass panic and possible fraud, especially as the crowds continue to grow with Christmas Day approaching.

Despite the alarming claims, there is no official or scientific evidence supporting any prediction of a global flood or world-ending event on December 25.

_Faith or Fear_

As Christmas Day arrives, the world watches closely:
Will it be a normal festive day, or will the prophecy collapse under the weight of reality?
For now, faith continues to battle facts, and thousands remain caught in the grip of a prophecy that has turned an ordinary Christmas into a moment of fear, hope and global attention.
