Paul Pogba, once the golden boy of French football, has begun a completely new chapter in his life, not just on the pitch, but also in business. After facing public humiliation and an 18-month doping ban, Pogba is now back on the field with AS Monaco. But that’s not all. Off the pitch, he has teamed up with his wife Zulay to launch a luxury jewellery line called Unbreakable, and the name says it all.

The idea behind Unbreakable is deeply personal. It’s not just about fashion or gold and diamonds, it’s a symbol of survival, resilience, and strong family bonds. Pogba and Zulay went through a storm. From the doping scandal that rocked his career to a public extortion case involving his own brother, life threw everything at them. But instead of falling apart, they built something new.

Speaking to Var-Matin, Zulay Pogba opened up about how these challenges tested their marriage and family life. “Paul’s problems were public. It affected us as a couple. It affected our children. We have been through very tough times, but we have stayed united,” she said. “This is what we wanted to communicate through the collection: you are not alone in facing difficulties, what matters is getting back up.”

Paul Pogba’s career has been anything but ordinary. He starred at Juventus, then became a Manchester United hero. He lifted trophies and wowed crowds. But in 2023, his world came crashing down. A routine drug test found DHEA, a banned substance, in his system. The result? An initial four-year ban, contract termination by Juventus, and a long, painful pause in his football career.

After legal battles and emotional stress, his ban was reduced to 18 months. In March this year, Pogba was cleared to play again. He signed a two-year deal with AS Monaco, hoping for a fresh start. But his comeback wasn’t just about football, it was about family, reputation, and life itself.

Things got even more personal when his own brother, Mathias Pogba, was found guilty of attempting to extort €13 million from him. Mathias, along with five others, was accused of trying to blackmail Paul. Though he denied the charges, he was sentenced in 2024 to three years in prison, with two years suspended.

This family drama, combined with the doping ban, could have broken anyone. But Paul and Zulay chose a different path, one of unity. “Unbreakable isn’t just about Paul and me,” Zulay explained. “It’s a shared story, that of a child with their mother or father, sisters, brothers, two best friends. These bonds help us not to be defeated by life’s roller coaster.”

Their new brand, Unbreakable, is being launched in partnership with the French jewellery house Elke Berr. The pieces, necklaces, bracelets, rings, are already available online. But the big dream is a physical showroom in Monaco, opening next September with the help of Monte-Carlo Diamonds.

Zulay, a Bolivian model and entrepreneur, sees this project as more than just a business. It’s a symbol of hope. “What we went through was seen by many because it was public,” she said. “But getting back up isn’t just about returning to sport, it’s about returning to life.”

While Pogba trains in Monaco and prepares for Ligue 1’s return, fans are watching closely. Could this be the start of his true comeback? A spot in France’s 2026 World Cup squad may feel far away, but nothing is impossible.

One thing is clear, Paul Pogba is no longer just a footballer. He is a husband, a father, a survivor, and now, a jeweller with a message. Unbreakable is more than a name. It’s a story. Their story.

For now, he continues to chase the ball on the field, while building a legacy with his family off it. The football world may have judged him for his past, but Pogba is showing us that redemption is possible, with love, strength, and purpose.
