Rodrygo’s time at Real Madrid might be reaching a turning point. The talented Brazilian forward has not been playing much under new coach Xabi Alonso, and his future in Spain is now uncertain.

Fans and clubs across Europe are wondering if Rodrygo could be leaving the Bernabeu this summer. Reports say Arsenal are keeping a close eye on his situation, but they have set one important condition. The Gunners will only make a move if Real Madrid agree to a loan deal instead of a permanent transfer.

This could make the situation tricky. Arsenal are not ready to spend big money on a full transfer right now. But if Madrid say yes to a loan, things could move very quickly.

The competition for Rodrygo is strong. Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the Brazilian star, meaning the race for his signature could become intense before the transfer window closes.

Rodrygo’s problem at Madrid is simple: he has slipped down the pecking order. During the Club World Cup, he started only once. Alonso now has many attacking stars to choose from, including Kylian Mbappé, Carlos Vinicius, and Jude Bellingham. With so much attacking firepower, Rodrygo’s minutes have been limited.

Real Madrid have not been actively looking to sell him. Their official position is still that Rodrygo will stay, but they are open to listening to offers. Meanwhile, it is reported that Rodrygo has been working with intermediaries to explore other options. No formal negotiations have taken place yet.

Earlier this summer, Arsenal signed Noni Madueke and also targeted Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace. Eze looked like a strong possibility, but Arsenal may now prefer a natural winger, and that makes Rodrygo an attractive choice.

According to The Times, Arsenal will only act if a loan becomes possible. This is the key detail that could decide everything.

Last month, Alonso explained why Rodrygo had not been playing much. He said the decision was based on tactics and game needs during the Club World Cup. “The fact that he didn’t play again was a decision based on the game. We needed a different player,” Alonso said. He added that no decision had been made yet about Rodrygo’s long-term role.

Earlier in the summer, reports suggested Madrid would only sell Rodrygo for £78 million or more. They never pushed him out of the club, but the price was always very high.

Liverpool reportedly turned to Rodrygo after missing out on Alexander Isak. Sources from ESPN Brazil claimed that Liverpool contacted Rodrygo’s representatives before making an official offer.

Some Spanish reports even suggest Madrid could lower their asking price. If true, that could change the game completely.

It has also been reported that Rodrygo has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League champions. If this is accurate, negotiations could move much faster once Madrid give the green light.

The big question is whether Real Madrid will allow a loan move. If they say yes, Arsenal could quickly put an offer on the table. But if Madrid insist on a huge transfer fee, Arsenal may walk away and look elsewhere.

Arsenal fans are excited about the possibility of seeing Rodrygo in red and white. Real Madrid fans, on the other hand, are nervous about losing a young and talented forward.

With the Premier League season about to start, the transfer market is heating up. Rodrygo’s future could be one of the biggest talking points before the window closes.

Time is running out. Every day without a clear decision increases the pressure on all sides.

Rodrygo’s next move will depend on one thing: whether Real Madrid agree to a loan deal. Until then, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham will keep watching closely.
