Meanwhile, Chelsea’s £29.5 million bid for Jamie Gittens has been turned down by Borussia Dortmund.

In Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to stay at Al-Nassr, with a contract extension reportedly on the table.

Manchester United Eye Ter Stegen

According to TEAMtalk via ESPN, Manchester United are considering Barcelona’s Marc-André ter Stegen as a potential replacement for the underperforming André Onana. Chelsea are also monitoring the German keeper, who recently returned from injury. Ter Stegen has been a key figure at Barça since 2014, making 291 La Liga appearances.

Everton Interested in Grealish Loan

As Rayan Cherki nears a move, Everton are keeping tabs on Jack Grealish for a potential loan from Manchester City, reports Mike Keegan. While no formal talks have taken place, Everton are aware he may be available. A loan is the only viable option due to his high wages, especially with Grealish reportedly at risk of missing out on the Club World Cup squad.

Cherki’s Breakout Season

Rayan Cherki delivered his best season yet, catching major attention with his 22 big chances created, 13 through balls, and 48 successful dribbles in Ligue 1. He also tallied 8 goals and 11 assists, along with 2 goals against Manchester United in the Europa League quarterfinal. His off-ball work has notably improved, and he recently scored on his France debut against Spain.

Harvey Elliott Reflects on Future

Harvey Elliott has expressed concerns about limited playing time at Liverpool, suggesting he may consider a move for the sake of his development:

“I don’t want to waste years. I just want to improve and be the best version of myself… If that’s somewhere else, it’s a decision I’ll have to make.”

Despite his love for the club, Elliott only made 18 league appearances last season, mostly from the bench, and may move if Liverpool succeed in signing Wirtz for what could be a record Premier League fee.

Saudi Clubs Eye Star Forwards

Al Hilal are reportedly in talks with Viktor Gyökeres and Darwin Núñez, while Al Nassr have given Sadio Mané the green light to leave as they hunt for a top-tier replacement, hinting at a possible swap in the making.
