The United States military has released the identities of six American service members killed in a drone strike on a U.S. command facility in Kuwait, marking the first confirmed American fatalities since the latest escalation between Washington and Tehran.

The attack occurred on Sunday when what officials described as an unmanned aerial system penetrated air defenses and struck a U.S. military command center at Port Shuaiba, Kuwait.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) initially reported three deaths. By Monday, however, the Pentagon confirmed the toll had risen to six. One of the wounded later died from injuries sustained in the blast, while two additional bodies were recovered during search and rescue operations in the debris.
