A tragic incident occurred in Kisumu County after a two-year-old boy lost his life following an attack by a donkey at his grandfather’s homestead in Olasi village, East Kano, Nyando Sub-County.
According to local police, the young boy was passing by the animal when it suddenly kicked him in the chest, causing serious injuries.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but doctors were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Neighbors and family members described the incident as a heartbreaking shock, noting that the child had been playing near the homestead when the accident occurred.
Authorities were immediately informed, and the boy’s body was taken to a mortuary as investigations into the circumstances of the tragedy continue.
