Jackie Matubia Mourns the Loss of Her Father, Kenyans Share Messages of Support

On June 9, actress Jackie Matubia announced the passing of her father after his battle with cancer. In a heartfelt tribute shared online, she posted a lit candle alongside the emotional message: “Heaven surely couldn’t wait for you my father.” 

Following the announcement, Kenyans, including numerous celebrities, extended their sympathies and comforting words to Matubia. Here are some of their messages:

In a separate tragic event, TikTok content creator Milka Nyatuga, known as Milly wa Doc, passed away on June 3 while receiving care at Nakuru County Referral Hospital. The mother of two died due to pregnancy-related complications, according to hospital doctors. 

Her family and fans shared emotional tributes, and preparations are underway for her burial on Friday, June 13. The family is appealing for financial assistance to ensure she receives a proper farewell.
